Accenture Strengthens Collaboration with Occidental to Advance Digital Transformation

Occidental is an international oil and gas exploration company who have benefited immensely from their partnership with Accenture.

Since 2016, Accenture has been in collaboration with Occidental. They are still collaborating, searching for new ways to update core business processes from the back office to field operations. The goal is to improve operational agility. Thus, increasing efficiency and unlocking business value.

Accenture is a professional services company that provides a wide range of services and solutions in strategy, consulting, digital and operations. They have a wealth of experience and specialized skills across about 40 industries. Accenture helps bridge the gap between business and technology in order to help clients increase “their performance and create sustainable value for their stakeholders.” 

Accenture has a staff of about 477, 000 in more than 120 countries. Their aim is to drive innovation and improve the way the world works and lives.  

The targeted benefits of this increased cooperation include reduced downtime and operational cost as well as enhanced production using digital capabilities.

Accenture Innovation Hub would expose the project’s team, helping them “explore and act on the latest thinking, industry research and cutting-edge technology.”

Yanni Charalambous, vice president and CIO for Occidental said, “Occidental strives to implement transformational technologies to improve operations and increase efficiencies across all of our business units,” He stated that they are also “in collaboration with Accenture to capitalize on leading digital technologies and practices”.
