How does automatic backup work?

by CloudWedge Staff    |

One of the most common features you’ll find provided by online backup services is automatic backup. This feature allows you to select which of the folders on your devices you’d like to have routinely backed up. These will typically be folders which are often updated or changed. You can choose how often you’d like your files to be routinely backed up. The most general options are daily, weekly and monthly settings. Simply choose which files you’d like to have you provider back up, and their  software will do the work for you automatically. All you need to do is make sure you are connected to the Internet so that you can upload the files to the cloud.

It’s highly recommended to choose a backup provider that offers automatic backup and set it to back up your files as often as possible. Using this feature will not only save you time, it will save you the trouble of having to remember to backup your files every once in a while.
